What Is GellyBall?

GellyBall guns (gel blasters) shoot small water based beads called gellets that travel at a small fraction of the energy of a paintball. A hit feels like a light flick, which is why the sport works for kids as young as 6, first timers, and mixed age groups. The beads are biodegradable: they burst, dry up, and disappear. You will not scrub paint out of anything afterward. Curious how it compares? Read our gellyball vs paintball vs airsoft vs nerf age guide.

Think of it as the missing step between Nerf and airsoft birthday parties: real tactics and real adrenaline without the sting.

A Real Field, Not a Pop Up

Most gel blaster experiences in Colorado are mobile setups: a few inflatable bunkers in a backyard or parking lot. Our field is a permanent 15 acre battlefield at the FAF Airsoft Field facility, with hay bale mazes, sandbag bunkers, and themed buildings to clear room by room. Sessions rotate through game modes like Capture the Flag, Last Team Standing, and Defend the Fort, run by trained referees. See the games in detail in our 12 field tested gel blaster party games guide.
