GellyBall & Gel Blaster Parties for Colorado Springs Families
Colorado Springs has indoor attractions covered. What the Springs does not have is 15 acres of outdoor gel blaster battlefield, and that is exactly one Highway 83 drive away. Powers Boulevard to CO-83 north is one of the prettiest straight shots on the Front Range, and it ends at our field in Parker in about an hour.
Why Springs families make it a day
An hour each way is real, so make it count. Most Colorado Springs groups book a two hour gel blaster party for late morning, then do lunch in downtown Parker (five minutes from the field) before the drive home. Birthday kid in one car, presents in another, stories for the whole ride back.
What you get that a backyard cannot give you
Gel blaster parties at Fox Airsoft include blasters, protective eye wear, unlimited gel ball ammo, and referees who run age tuned games across hay bale mazes, bunkers, and themed buildings. The beads are water based: they pop with a light flick and dry into nothing. Ages 6 and up play comfortably, and parents are welcome on the field.
The drive from Colorado Springs
Two good options: CO-83 (Parker Road) north from Powers, the scenic and usually fastest route at about 55 to 65 minutes from the north Springs; or I-25 north to Castle Rock, then Founders Parkway and Crowfoot Valley Road across, similar time from the west side. The field is at 11321 Dransfeldt Rd in Parker, just off Parker Road.
Bigger Springs groups
Coming with a youth group, scout troop, or team? Private group sessions give you the field structure without the birthday wrapping, and weekday bookings travel best from the Springs since you miss metro traffic both ways.
Colorado Springs parent questions
Is there really nothing like this closer to the Springs?
There are party rooms and mobile setups around the Springs, and they have their place. A permanent 15 acre outdoor gel blaster battlefield with themed buildings and refereed missions is a different category, and ours is the one within day trip range.
What is the best time to book from the Springs?
Late morning. Leave at 10, play at 11 or noon, lunch in downtown Parker, home by 4. You miss Denver traffic in both directions and the kids sleep on the ride back, which parents describe as a bonus feature.
Is Highway 83 or I-25 better?
CO-83 north from Powers is usually the move: less traffic, prettier, and it ends at Parker Road five minutes from our field. I-25 to Castle Rock and across on Founders Parkway is comparable from the west side.
Can we combine a birthday with a bigger group event?
Yes. Springs scout troops and youth groups often book a private session and fold a birthday into it. Groups of 10 to 20 get the best value from the drive.
Ready to plan it?
