GellyBall & Gel Blaster Parties for Aurora Families
Aurora actually has more gellyball options than most of the metro, so let us be straight about the landscape. A couple of Aurora paintball venues offer gellyball as a kids add-on, and they are solid operations. Fox Airsoft is different in one specific way: our 15 acre field in Parker was built for tactical games, and gel blaster parties get the full battlefield, not a corner of a paintball facility.
Paintball venue or dedicated field?
If your group is mostly teens who will graduate to paintball the same day, an Aurora paintball park makes sense. If your group is ages 6 to 12, a dedicated gel blaster party usually fits better: games designed for that age, referees used to running them for kids, themed buildings to clear, and no paintball crowd sharing the space. Hits feel like a light flick, the beads disappear on their own, and nobody needs a change of clothes afterward.
The drive from Aurora
From southeast Aurora and the Southlands area, E470 to Parker Road southbound puts you at our field at 11321 Dransfeldt Rd in about 15 to 20 minutes. From central Aurora plan 25 to 30. If you have ever driven to Southlands for dinner, you can get to us.
What an Aurora birthday group gets
- Blasters, protective eye wear, and unlimited gel ball ammo for every player
- Referees who rotate games every 10 to 15 minutes (Capture the Flag, Defend the Fort, VIP Escort)
- A reserved staging area for cake and parents
- An age ladder for later: airsoft birthday parties on the same field at 12 and up
Aurora parent questions
Aurora has paintball parks with gellyball. Why drive to Parker?
If your group is 13 and up and wants paintball anyway, stay local, honestly. For ages 6 to 12, a dedicated gel blaster party on a field built for tactical games usually beats a kids corner at a paintball facility: age tuned games, referees who specialize in young groups, and the full 15 acres.
How far is it really from Aurora?
From Southlands or anywhere on the E470 side, 15 to 20 minutes. From central Aurora near the medical campus, plan 25 to 30. It is closer than most Aurora families guess.
Does gellyball sting like paintball?
No. Gel beads are mostly water and carry a small fraction of a paintball's energy. A hit feels like a light flick, which is why six year olds play happily on the same field where teens play airsoft.
Can we mix ages in one party?
Yes. Our referees balance teams and tune the games. Mixed groups of 6 to 12 year olds are our most common booking, and parents are welcome to join.
