GellyBall & Gel Blaster Parties for Castle Rock Families
Castle Rock has plenty of birthday options for the trampoline and bowling crowd. What it does not have is a gel blaster battlefield. The good news: the closest permanent gellyball field in Colorado is about 20 minutes away in Parker, straight up Crowfoot Valley Road or Founders Parkway to our 15 acre field at Fox Airsoft.
Why Castle Rock families make the short drive
Mobile gel blaster companies will set up inflatables in your backyard, and for a small yard party that can work. But Castle Rock parents who have done both tell us the same thing: a real field changes the party. Hay bale mazes, sandbag bunkers, and themed buildings give a group of 8 to 15 kids actual missions to run instead of circling the same three bunkers. Add referees who run the games and a covered staging area for cake, and parents get to watch instead of work.
The drive from Castle Rock
From Founders Parkway, take Crowfoot Valley Road north until it becomes Parker Road, then follow signs into downtown Parker. Our field is at 11321 Dransfeldt Rd, just off Parker Road. Most of Castle Rock makes it in 18 to 25 minutes. From The Meadows side, I-25 north to Castle Pines Parkway and across also works.
What ages does this work for?
Gel blasters (gellyball, Orbeez guns) are built for ages 6 and up: soft water beads, a light tap on impact, no paint, and no mess on the birthday clothes. Castle Rock middle schoolers who want more intensity can level up to an airsoft birthday party in Parker on the same field at age 12.
Castle Rock group ideas beyond birthdays
We host Douglas County scout troops, church youth groups, and sports team end of season parties. If your group is coming from a Castle Rock school or club, weekday afternoon slots are often easier to book than weekends.
Castle Rock parent questions
Is there gellyball in Castle Rock itself?
Not a permanent field. Mobile companies will come to a backyard, and the Castle Rock rec centers cover the classic party formats, but the nearest dedicated gel blaster field is our field in Parker, about 20 minutes north.
How long should we budget for a party from Castle Rock?
Plan about three hours door to door: 20 to 25 minutes each way and two hours on the field. Morning parties get you home by lunch; afternoon slots pair well with dinner in downtown Parker or back home on Founders Parkway.
Can younger siblings come along?
Yes. Ages 6 and up can play, and younger siblings can watch from the staging area with parents. Many Castle Rock families bring the whole crew and trade off who is on the field.
What about Douglas County school or scout groups?
We host them all the time. Weekday afternoons are the easiest slots to book, and one bus or carpool chain from Castle Rock makes it simple.
Ready to plan it?
