GellyBall & Gel Blaster Parties for Highlands Ranch Families
Highlands Ranch runs on rec centers, and they are great for swim parties and basketball birthdays. When your kid asks for a gel blaster battle instead, the closest permanent battlefield is our 15 acre field in Parker, about 25 minutes east, and it is a different kind of birthday entirely.
What makes it worth leaving the Ranch
A gel blaster party here is not a rented room with a folding table. Kids spend two hours running missions through hay bale mazes, sandbag bunkers, and themed buildings, with referees rotating games every 10 to 15 minutes: Capture the Flag, Last Team Standing, Defend the Fort, and the birthday kid starring as the VIP in VIP Escort. Parents get a reserved staging area, and more than a few end up grabbing a blaster for the last round.
The drive from Highlands Ranch
C470 east to I-25, one exit south to Lincoln Avenue, then east to Parker Road and south into Parker. Most of the Ranch makes it in 22 to 30 minutes. The field is at 11321 Dransfeldt Rd. Pair the party with dinner in downtown Parker and the day plans itself.
Safe enough for 6, fun enough for 12
Gel blasters (your kids may say Orbeez guns or splatter ball guns) shoot soft, water based beads that pop with a light tap and dehydrate into nothing. Long sleeves, long pants, and our provided eye protection are the whole dress code. We supply blasters, ammo, referees, and supervision; the full package is on our party page below.
The age ladder
Here is what Highlands Ranch parents like most: the party grows with the kid. GellyBall at 6. Airsoft birthday parties on the same field at 12. Nobody ages out, they age up.
Highlands Ranch parent questions
Is the drive worth it versus a rec center party?
Different products. Rec centers are convenient and great for swim parties. A gel blaster party is two hours of refereed missions on 15 outdoor acres, and it is the one kids retell at school. For the big birthday years (7 to 11), Ranch families tell us the 25 minutes earns its keep.
What is the best route at busy times?
C470 east, I-25 south one exit to Lincoln Avenue, then east to Parker Road. Weekend mornings the drive runs 22 to 30 minutes from most of the Ranch. Saturday afternoons add a few minutes on Lincoln.
Do parents play or watch?
Your call. There is a reserved staging area with the cake and the coffee, and there are loaner blasters for parents who get pulled in. Both happen at most parties.
How far ahead should we book?
Two to three weeks for weekends, especially April through August. Weekday afternoon parties can often book same week.
Ready to plan it?
