Why Aurora players make the drive
The difference shows up in the games. Paintball fields running airsoft as a side line tend to put you on inflatable bunkers with a short round clock. At FAF you get the Prison, a themed outdoor complex with buildings, towers, and trenches, plus The Market CQB field for fast close range rounds. Missions are objective based and teams are rebalanced at every briefing. Friday night games under the lights are a favorite for Aurora players getting off work.
The drive from Aurora
From central Aurora, take I225 south to Parker Road (Highway 83) and follow it south into Parker, about 30 minutes. From southeast Aurora and the E470 corridor, take E470 south and exit at Parker Road, about 25 minutes. The field is at 11321 Dransfeldt Rd, just off Parker Road.
Hours and what a first visit looks like
- Friday night games: 4 PM to 11 PM under the lights
- Saturday and Sunday open play: 9 AM to 4 PM
- Players 10 and up, with a parent signed waiver for anyone under 18
- Rental packages include an electric rifle, full face protection, and BBs
- Every session starts with a safety briefing, and referees run structured, objective based games all day
