This VFC SCAR-L is an absolute beast, both internally and externally. This rifle was constructed to be the most realistic and true-to-form replica of the SCAR-L out there. The upper receiver of this rifle is made of CNC machined aluminum, making it nearly as solid as can be while keeping the gun surprisingly light. The high-strength polymer lower receiver and stock assembly are even lighter while retaining plenty of functional strength. This gun comes in at just under six and a half pounds, making it surprisingly lightweight for how well-built it is.

One of the most prominent features of this rifle is its realistic and fully licensed FN Herstal trademarks that are laser etched into the aluminum upper receiver. Up top, there's a full-length monolithic upper rail that stretches the entirety of the upper receiver. An additional 3 rail sections are mounted on the handguard, all of which are removable. As far as sights go, this rifle comes with a pair of flip-up backup iron sights. The front sight is attached directly to the gas block, while the rear is rail-mounted. This gun's magazine release and fire selector are fully ambidextrous and easy to use on either side.

The charging handle can be switched to whichever side you prefer, and the mock bolt it's mounted to can be locked back to allow easy access to the hop-up system. Pressing the bolt catch sends the mock bolt home, making a surprisingly satisfying sound despite the fact that this bolt serves no actual purpose. Equipped with flip-up backup iron sights, as well as an ambidextrous magazine release and fire selector, this SCAR-L airsoft gun prioritizes user convenience and accessibility. Including a charging handle and mock bolt adds to its realism, providing an immersive experience on the field.

The stock on this rifle is so unique that it deserves its paragraph. It's fully adjustable, including a cheek piece with 3 separate positions for height, and the whole stock has 6 different positions for adjustable length of pull. The stock is constructed of the same high-strength polymer as the lower receiver, and it's both very light and strong. There's absolutely no undue creak or wobble in this stock as well.

The coolest part about this stock is that VFC designed it to make this gun just that much more realistic. Even when folded, zero wires are visible between the body and the stock. That also means there's no pinching your stock wires when folding and unfolding this stock, saving you a lot of headaches in wiring. This design is unique to the VFC SCAR-L; you can't find this on any other MK16 replica. To put the icing on the cake, VFC has a pin running through the buttpad of this stock, meaning no more lost buttplates or batteries!

Right out of the box, this VFC SCAR-L is shooting between 350 and 370 FPS with a .20gram BB. It has a 380mm inner barrel. The stock compartment is smaller than most full but can still fit a rather large battery. Internally, this gun sports a standard Version 2 gearbox that's fully compatible with any Version 2 upgrade parts on the market. It also accepts standard 14mm CCW flash hiders and M4/M16 style pistol grips.

Overall, the VFC SCAR-L is an absolute beauty with incredible realism and attention to detail. This gun is perfect if you're looking for a high-quality replica to keep you on the airsoft fields
