The NcStar Keymod Hand Stop Grip is one of many products we are bringing in, and we are more than happy to start carrying it. Over the years, several different rails have replaced the heavy, uncomfortable picatinny rails, and keymod has become the most popular. But what use is a keymod rail if the only airsoft attachments you put on require adding a picatinny rail section? NcStar has sought solutions to these problems, bringing several keymod-only attachments, such as the 1" Flashlight Mount, the Hand Grip, and one of our favorites, the NcStar Keymod Hand Stop Grip.
Hand stops in the real world are meant to prevent operators from getting their hands too close to hot barrels or flash hiders, as well as create a consistent point of reference for holding their rifles. One of the most common ways of holding rifles now is variations of the C-Clamp method, which is placing your supporting hand towards the front of your handguard to gain more control over the gun.
The NcStar Keymod Hand Stop Grip is a unique accessory that can grip your rifle more comfortably and train you to shoot the same way every single time. The unit is made out of black anodized aluminum, making it one of the most robust on the market. On one side of the unit is a textured surface to grip the unit more securely, as most hand stops should.
Additionally, the unit is reversible by simply rotating the tightening bolt on the underside. What we have found is that doing two fingers on each side of the post is the most comfortable and allows for the best control over the rifle.
Mounting the unit is relatively simple, using the included 2.5mm Allen key. In the bottom of the hand stop, you will find an opening to reach the screw head, which can then be fastened to a keymod rail in either direction. Once this screw is tightened, it is not going anywhere quickly.
Overall, this hand-stop grip is an excellent solution for anyone looking to add a bit of comfort to their keymod rail without sacrificing valuable space. The airsoft foregrip is comfortable and keeps you trained to shoot the same way every single time.
