The Colt 1911 Rail Guns from Cybergun are a new series of CO2-powered gas blowback pistols modeled after the Colt 1911

These pistols are available in four variations, three pictured above. Those models are Stainless, Dark Earth, and Dual Tone from left to right. The full Black 1911 is not featured but has the same frame and grips as the Dual Tone with a matching matte black slide. Internally, these pistols are all essentially the same, powered by CO2 and featuring a full blowback feature for added realism. These pistols shoot 330-350 FPS and have a magazine capacity of 14 BBs. The frames, slides, controls, and barrels of these pistols are constructed entirely of metal, giving them a solid feel and making them very durable.

This review will focus on the Stainless version of the Cybergun 1911s. This pistol has a unique look with a matte gray finish on the frame and most of the slide, while the sides of the slide bring out the stainless color and finish. The hammer, safeties, magazine release, trigger, and slide release all have the same matte gray color. To top it off, the dot-style sights and grip screws add a tiny bit of black to this combination of colors.

The classic checkered faux wood grips on this pistol add even more contrast. The diamond texturing on these grips is very grippy but remains comfortable. The faux wood coloration of these grips is surprisingly good.

This pistol features fully licensed Colt trademarks and is accurate down to the caliber. These trademarks are engraved right into the slide, and they even feature the actual Colt logo on the rear of the slide. Since the stainless finish is only on the surface, there's the added contrast of the matte gray amid the trademarks.

Do you need more flair on your gun? This pistol has a gleaming polished stainless barrel, giving it a "match grade" look. The barrel is not threaded, but an accessory rail right below is perfect for attaching lights or lasers.
