About the Scorpion EVO 3 A1 Series
The Scorpion EVO 3 A1 series is a line of 9mm submachine guns manufactured by CZ and has gained popularity through its appearances in video games and movies. These futuristic-looking submachine guns boast an entirely polymer chassis, making them lightweight and compact, perfect for agile movements on the airsoft battlefield. One of the Scorpion EVO 3 A1's standout features is its ambidextrous design, catering to left- and right-handed players.
Action Sport Games (ASG) worked closely with CZ under license to bring airsoft enthusiasts the Scorpion EVOs. These guns are known for their innovative design and mimic some features found in high-end guns like PTWs, making them the flagship model for ASG.
The airsoft Scorpion EVO series is equipped with numerous innovative features, including complete ambidexterity, an integrated MOSFET that provides single, 3-round burst, and full-auto fire modes, empty magazine detection, low voltage detection, and functional bolt catch, among others. These features ensure a high level of performance and functionality on the field.
We recommend using an 11.1v stick Lipo battery with the Scorpion EVO series for optimal performance. Please note that due to the advanced features and the requirement of Lipo batteries, these guns are recommended for expert users who are familiar with handling and maintaining airsoft equipment.
As of this writing, ASG offers four variants of the Scorpion EVO for airsoft:
- Scorpion EVO 3 A1 - AEG, submachine gun size
- Scorpion EVO 3 A1 Carbine - AEG, carbine length barrel and handguard
- Scorpion EVO 3 BET Carbine - AEG, carbine length barrel and handguard, integral mock suppressor
- Scorpion EVO 3 A1 HPA Edition - HPA, powered by Wolverine engine
It's worth noting that the HPA version of the Scorpion EVO utilizes high-pressure air through a system that requires air tanks similar to those used in paintball. This version offers quick response time and minimal moving parts, but knowing the costs of maintaining an HPA system is essential.
