Fox airsoft recently received a full lineup of products from Blue Force Gear, makers of some of the most innovative airsoft outfits available. We wanted to examine what makes these products different from their competitors.
Blue Force Gear is most known for its famous Ten-Speed pouches featuring a slim, lightweight, elastic construction that looks sleek and works well. The elastic design allows for positive retention on your airsoft magazine no matter their design, and removing them is surprisingly easy. These pouches are very good at holding the magazines they were designed for, but it's surprising how versatile they are. From radios to first aid supplies, these pouches can hold a surprising amount, and their elastic design ensures solid retention no matter the conditions. Blue Force Gear also makes other pouches featuring their patented Helium Whisper system. This system is designed to make MOLLE both lighter and easier to use. Blue Force Gear reduced the parts used in their mounting system to an absolute minimum. This system can reduce the weight of MOLLE pouches by up to 60% while being more durable. This system also makes mounting easier, as there are no tricky snaps to deal with, and threading the thin straps used by Blue Force Gear is much easier than with a standard MOLLE. Pouches are just one of the things that Blue Force Gear is innovating in. Their new MOLLEminus system makes their chest rigs, belts, and plate carriers lighter and thinner than ever. Rather than a traditional Cordura piece with MOLLE sewn onto it, BFG laser cut the MOLLE pattern into their patented ULTRAcomp material. Not only does this reduce weight, but it also makes these rigs more breathable. Lighter, stronger, and more abrasion resistant than 1000d Cordura, this material comes in at half the thickness of a single dime. When combined with Helium Whisper, MOLLEminus is even more unbelievably thin and lightweight. Below, you'll see some examples of the MOLLEminus system:
Blue Force Gear also makes an entire system of slings, including the slings themselves and unique sling mounts. The Vickers Combat Slings are incredibly adjustable 2-point slings with a quick-adjust function for easy transitions. They're also available in both padded and non-padded variants. BFG also has several different airsoft attachments options, including the U-Loop and UWL, that will protect your rifle from damage and make using your sling even easier.
