The Classic Army EC1 features several of the same great internals we've found in models such as the KM and Delta Skirmish series rifles. Out of the box, you will find the rifle itself, a magazine, a battery, a charger, two rail covers, and one vertical grip. First, let's take a look at the EC1.

The upper and lower receivers of the rifle are made out of high-strength nylon fiber, which makes this very lightweight yet durable.
The EC1 differs from the KM and Delta series models with its metal quad rail system, which allows you to mount standard picatinny rail accessories to the rifle, such as the lights, lasers, airsoft foregrip, and more.
The bottom rail can be removed by releasing two tabs on the rifle's underside. It is much easier to mount an underslung airsoft attachments, such as a grenade launcher, by mounting it to the barrel.
The rifle has a 300-round high-capacity magazine with a winding wheel on the bottom. High-capacity magazines are great due to their ability to provide ammo to the player continuously. Fully winding the wheel can get up to 60 rounds without winding again. It's good practice to wind the wheel while taking cover to keep those BB's coming!
The stock houses the battery and includes in-line MOSFET, which allows you to run higher voltage batteries such as Li-Po's. Opening the battery compartment is simple by pressing two tabs on the lower end of the stock and pushing outward on the butt plate, where the stock can easily hold the included butterfly battery. Additionally, the airsoft MOSFET is wired to Dean's but includes the Tamiya adapter, which allows you to run either connection type.
The rifle barrel has been pre-upgraded to a 6.03mm Tight Bore Barrel. A tight bore barrel is proven to increase your velocity and accuracy when using high-quality airsoft BB's. Your standard BB is 5.95mm in diameter, and most airsoft guns come with a 6.08mm barrel or wider, which creates over 1mm of space for air to slip past the BB, losing velocity. A tight bore barrel will increase your velocity by reducing the amount of space.
The two accessories included on the rifle are the vertical grip and the rail covers. A vertical grip gives you much better control over a rifle and can often be more comfortable to hold. Rail covers are typically used for those who hold the rifle by the handguard, which can become a bit uncomfortable if you have metal rails. Rail covers offer a textured, comfortable grip over the rails, allowing you to hold the rifle comfortably without sacrificing control.

Included in the box are one battery and a charger. The battery is a 9.6V 1600mAH butterfly battery, which is standard for most guns nowadays. Typically, these batteries will last about half a day of play, so picking up a spare battery would be beneficial. We recommend upgrading to a smart charger, which comes with a standard wall charger. Upgrading to a smart charger will charge the battery much faster and features an auto-cutoff function so that the battery is not overcharged.
